Description: Honey Danels (Jessica Alba) is a 22-year-old, sexy, tough-minded, part-black, part-Latina hip-hop dancer in New York's East Harlem who dreams of making it big as a music video choreographer. She teaches hip-hop dancing at a local youth center and encourages the local kids to attend to keep them off the streets and out of trouble. When luck shines on Honey in the form of a famous music video director, named Michael, who casts her in one music video, she's encouraged to make the transition from dancer to choreographer. But Honey's sudden success comes with a price when Michael refuses to take "no" for an answer to his sexual advances and then tries to sabotage her career by blackballing her out of the business.
Comments: "Honey" is one of those films that when in finishes you just say "I liked it". I thought that Honey was excellent and that Jessica Alba did a great job of portraying Honey Daniels, a wannabe dancer. ER's Mekhi Phifer also does a great job as Honey's boyfriend Chaz. The film also stars rapper Lil' Romeo as Benny, David Moscow as Michael, Zachary Williams as Raymond and one of my favourite actresses, Joy Bryant as Gina.

The story is about dancer Honey Daniels wanting to get her dance moves out there in music clips. Honey meets Michael Ellis, who helps her with this. Honey also gets to inspire younger dancers Benny and Raymond. The music in the film is spectacular with performances from artists such as Jadakiss, Tweet, Yolanda Adams and R'n'B female group Blaque. There is also a special appearance from female rapper Missy Elliot.

Honey is a great film for anyone that loves to sing and dance. I loved it!
